Structure of PMI-RMP® Certification

The PMI-RMP® certification exam is comprehensive and covers a wide range of topics. You will be tested on everything from project management to risk management, so you need to be prepared for anything! We will discuss the test structure and how it differs from other exams.

The main features are as follows:-

  • Multiple-choice questions
  • Candidates have to answer 170 questions in all - 20 of the 170 are considered pre-test questions which do not impact final scores.
  • One hundred fifty questions are scored in total.
  • RMP® follows computer-based testing.
  • A paper-based testing option.
  • Candidates get a total of three and a half hours to complete all their tests.
