The requirements for PGMP certification courses?
There are three levels of certification currently offered by PMI:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is the highest level and requires at least four years of project management experience within five or more different disciplines.
- Project Management Associate (PMA) requires two years of project management experience in three or more disciplines.
- Project Management Professional-in-Training (PMP-IT) does not require any previous experience.
Requirements for PMP certification courses
- A bachelor's degree in project management or a related field is not required to sit the exam.
- Thirty-five hours of formal education specific to project management include at least five years' experience as a practicing project manager. This requires 18 months on one or more projects.

The Prerequisites for PMI-PgMP® Certification
